Marta de Pablos was born in Seville in 1975.

She graduated in fine art from UWE (University of West England), Bristol, England in 2002

She had previously studied in The León Ortega School of Art in Huelva, from which she graduated in 1988 in applied art, specialising in ceramics.

She works experimentally using any medium within her reach such as ceramic sculpture, installation art, sound and video art.

She uses and brings together different techniques and materials, returning to ceramics as her principle form of expression.

Her objective is to take ceramics to a more conceptual level.
